Day trips
INSA Rouen Normandie has genuine expertise in welcoming international students, having organized an orientation program for international students for the past 20 years. Click here for more information.
A welcome reception is organized at the start of each semester to meet and welcome new international students. Academic and administrative staff are invited to attend: the Registrar Office, the Student Information Center, the Residences, etc.

This day gives Insaïens members the opportunity to experience the international dimension of the school. The International Relations Office, which organizes the event, offers presentations of opportunities abroad for students, teachers and staff alike, as well as the chance to share international experiences at cultural stands and take part in the day's activities.
Meet Your Buddy
The DRI, in collaboration with WelcomINSA members, organizes an evening get-together at the start of the semester. It provides a framework for pairs (mentors and mentees) to get to know each other in the presence of other international students and their mentors.
International Students' Night in Rouen
The City of Rouen organizes an annual welcome evening for all international students from Rouen's higher education institutions.
International Students' Night in Le Havre
Le Havre's students, via the CHEERS association, the Le Havre conference of higher education and research establishments, also have the opportunity to take part in a festive welcome event.
International Christmas Celebration
Since 2022, DRI has been inviting international students to round off the year with an end-of-year party. Traditional French and international dishes are prepared by students and staff.
Day trips
We offer international students the chance to discover the Normandy region. Previous day trips: Etretat, Giverny etc.
French cuisine workshops
Members of Welcom'INSA and the Ins'à table club run a culinary workshop to teach international students how to make galettes and crêpes.
