The Master of Science degree is awarded jointly by INSA Rouen Normandie and NEOMA Business School as part of an academic partnership designed to ensure the quality and recognition of the degree.
This program trains students to design, manage, and operate artificial intelligence solutions that support organizational strategy and performance. It sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, data science, and management, fully integrating the challenges of responsible AI, ethics, and data governance.

Training description
Application
Applications for the Master of Science program must be submitted electronically to the following address: msc@insa-rouen.fr
The application package must include scanned copies of the original documents, written in English or French:
- Degrees (Four-year Bachelor’s degree, or a Bachelor’s degree followed by a Master’s 1)
- Resume
- Official transcripts
- Proof of English proficiency: TOEIC, TOEFL iBT, IELTS, Cambridge, Duolingo, or proof of a Bachelor’s degree taught in English
After reviewing the applications, eligible candidates may be invited to a follow-up interview.
Recommended and expected degrees
The MSc AI4B is open to students with a four-year degree (M1 or equivalent – 240 ECTS).
Applicants should have a background in one of the following fields:
- Computer science
- Applied mathematics/statistics
- Data science
- Industrial or digital engineering
- Economics/Finance/Management with a strong quantitative focus
Applicants must demonstrate:
- an ability to manipulate and analyze data,
- an interest in AI applications in organizations,
- an aptitude for working in an international and multidisciplinary environment.
Program
The program comprises a total of approximately 815 hours of instruction, supplemented by applied projects, case studies, and a final internship.
UE 1 – Artificial Intelligence and Data Science
- Fundamentals and advanced applications of artificial intelligence
- Machine learning and big data exploitation
- Data science tools applied to business contexts
UE 2 – Big Data and Analytical Infrastructures
- Large-scale data management and processing
- Analytical infrastructures and data ecosystems
UE 3 – Finance, Insurance, and Risk Management
- Applications of AI in finance and insurance
- Quantitative analysis and risk management
UE 4 – Business Strategy and Digital Transformation
- Integration of AI into business processes
- Digital transformation and organizational performance
UE 5 – Data Governance, Ethics, and Responsible AI
- Data governance and regulation
- Ethical and societal issues in artificial intelligence
- Responsible and sustainable AI
Teaching methods include:
- Lectures
- Tutorials and applied projects
- Business case studies
A professional thesis is written at the end of the program and defended before a jury.

Internship
The program includes a mandatory end-of-studies internship lasting at least four months.
This internship leads to the completion of a professional thesis and a defense.

• Selection: review of academic record and professional project
• Target audience: French and international students
Tuition fees
• €13,000 to €16,000 for EU students.
• €16,000 for non-EU students.
